SEV Summer English Camp at Konkuk University Chungju Campus 2010
Dates: Orientation and Preparation – 9:00am August 1, 2010 (1 day)
Session 1: August 2, 2010 ~ August 10, 2010 (9 days)
Days off: August 11, 2010 ~ August 12, 2010 (2 days)
Session 2: August 13, 2010 ~ August 17, 2010 (5 days)
Location: Konkuk University Campus, Chungju, South Korea – about one and half hours from Seoul
Working Hours: 9:00am ~ 9:00pm with breaks during the day (90 minutes lunch and 90 minutes dinner)
Salary: 2.0 million won
Teachers will be paid on the last day of camp.
Students: Elementary and Middle School
Accommodation: shared dorm room with internet line, two teachers per room
Meals: meals will be provided at a campus cafeteria
Curriculum: All curriculum and teaching materials will be prepared by the camp programming team. Teachers will be given lesson plans to follow and will participate in a camp orientation. Students will study English through text book based classes for three periods a day. Three periods a day will be devoted to situational classes such as post office, bank or restaurant. In the evening students will chose a major to study for the week or do a team activity. Majors could include theater, puppetry, musical, or art. Students and teachers will go on a field trip one afternoon. Students will take a placement test when they arrive and may take a JET Test (elementary) or TOEIC test (middle school) at the end of the camp session. We will also have a graduation ceremony where students will receive certificates and perform their play or dance.

2. be from the United States, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland or South Africa.
