General Information:
Established in 1953, Hansei University is a private 4-year college emphasizing quality undergraduate education. Department of social welfare is one of the strongest academic program with solid education in the field. The department offers educational programs at the associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels. Hansei University is located in Seoul Grand Metropolitan Area in the Republic of Korea and thus one can easily access to a rich cultural and social, urban life styles in the country. We are currently seeking one non-tenure track adjunct faculty members to join our department for two-year contract with the possibility of extension.

Position/ Rank: one non-tenure track adjunct faculty members. Selected candidate will enjoy a handsome salary, along with the free housing – a luxury apartment complex next to the university fully paid by the university. Our campus locations are quite ideal due to easy access to Seoul Metropolitan Area. The underground station and various bus lines is very close to the campus and it takes less than an hour to reach the center of Seoul. This allows plenty of cultural, social opportunities to enjoy modern and urban life in Seoul.
Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications
• Earned Master’s degree in social welfare, or other Social Sciences (Ph.D. is preferred but not required)
• Being able to and/or willing to work with Korean students

Appointment/ Start Date: Hansei University follows a 12-month academic calendar (August – July). Appointments are full-time, non-tenure track and appointment dates are to be determined on an individual basis. Once hired, one is to be required to teach criminal justice course and also English language course if necessary.
